Rome, Italy | Fall 2018

Today, our culture has become image-obsessed, consuming a large quantity of architecture through photographs. Upon taking a course on architectural photography, we were able to learn how to take compositional photographs of our surroundings, specifically architecture. It enabled us to learn how to visually understand the buildings in front of us, and how its surroundings can affect the overall composition. We traveled all around Rome, taking pictures of buildings such as the Vatican, and several EUR buildings constructed during the fascist period. After the pictures were taken with a professional camera, the photographs were then sent to Photoshop for post production.
